Dubai Properties launches Culture Village

Dubai Properties (DP) said on Monday that it has launched sales of its luxury residential development Manazel AlKhor, part of its Culture Village project.

Initially announced in October, Manazel AlKhor is located in DPG’s creek-side Culture Village destination, offering three and four bedroom luxury apartments and completion is slated for mid-2016, the company said.

Private sales of the 76-unit low-rise development will be handled from DP’s central sales centre in Business Bay, it added in a statement.

Manazel AlKhor will join a number of other luxury residential and hospitality projects under construction by third party developers in Culture Village, including the luxurious six-star Palazzo Versace Hotel and D1 Residential Tower.

Overlooking the historic Dubai Creek, the luxury residential project aims to stay true to traditional Arabic themes and will feature local architecture, with shared amenities including a gym and pool.

Speaking about the project, Khalid Al Malik, Group CEO of Dubai Properties Group, the parent company of DP, said: “Due to its prime location in the heart of Culture Village, traditional Arabic theme and waterside living experience, we are confident Manazel AlKhor will prove to be an attractive investment for local, regional and international buyers.

“Manazel AlKhor is a unique luxury development which will cater to the strong demand we are seeing for spacious, well located residences offering waterside views.”

Culture Village will be the city’s first creek-side development with residential, commercial, retail, entertainment and cultural components, attracting both international and regional visitors.

 Manazel AlKhor will feature 3.8km of promenade walkways and landscaped features, a traditional-style souk and mixed use complex overlooking an internal canal, and a centrally located marina with mooring and access points.

Dubai Properties said it has appointed contractor Sun Engineering to handle the project.
